David Lee Bradley Sr., 70, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 8:50 PM, Wednesday, October 4th, 2017 at his residence. David was born in Guilford, IN on July 9, 1947, a son of the late Dorothy and Cecil Bradley. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a SP 4 during the Vietnam War and was a member of VFW Post 5312 in Aurora, IN. David worked as a supervisor at Stedman Foundry for many years. He was the husband of Linda L. (Lewis) Bradley. David and Linda were married on December 17, 1971. David was an outdoors man and liked to fish, hunt, work in the garden and go camping. He also enjoyed a game of horseshoes.

In addition to his loving wife Linda, David is survived by two daughters, LeeAnn Uhlman(Steve), of Lawrenceburg, IN and Melinda Simpson(Craig), of Dry Ridge, KY; by two sons, James McAlister(Rena), of Anderson, OH and David Lee Bradley, Jr.(Rhea), of Zionsville, IN; by grandchildren, Tyler, Kayleigh, Bradley, Aiden, Dallas, Justin, Kyle, Lucas, Logan & Cole and by a great grandson, Dakota and by great granddaughter, Alaina, by three sisters, Bonnie Saunders, of Rising Sun, IN; Shirley Nordhoff, of Aurora, IN and Bertha Nichols, of Rising Sun, IN; by five brothers, John Bradley, of Moores Hill, IN; Paul Bradley, of Dillsboro, IN; Oscar Bradley, of Aurora, IN; Robert Bradley, of Moores Hill, IN and Cecil Bradley, of Aurora, IN. David was preceded in death by his parents, by his granddaughter Elliot and by his brother Norman Bradley.

Funeral services will be at 6 PM, Monday, October 9th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Pastor Thomas Beatley officiating. Friends are invited to call Monday 2-6 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
